Dear Classmates,
I was informed by Jim Hampson today that Peter Urban passed away early this morning from an apparent heart attack. Please keep Carla, his Loving wife, in your thoughts and prayers.
Peter has lived in the Elepahant Butte area for many years along with some eight other of our classmates. He cannot be reached by this website because he abhored computers. His home phone is: 575 744-5863.

WOW........ What a shame. He loved the lake and I visited many times to see the motorcycle repair operation he had going in early retirement. We are not immortal. Must remember to live each day to its fullest.

Peter was a good friend from 7th grade (after they moved to Albuquerque from West Germany) through college and after. He was in my wedding eons ago.
Very athletic, loved to tinker. Loved cars, motorcycles, machines... Always smiling as I remember.
Have not talked to him for years. He said he spent decades working with computers and was done. I didn't get around to calling him recently, sadly.

Peter joined us in Miss Stacher's 4th grade class at Bandelier--as I remember it, newly arrived from Switzerland! Its sad to know he's gone.

Very sorry to hear, Many memories doing what he loved in the great NM outdoors.
We cut down hundreds of trees together clearing ski trails at La Madera (Sandia Peak) Ski Area when the
first chairlift was installed in the '60's. ....And enjoyed the bumps and powder snow on those trails for years.
Will ski and have a special toast to Peter at the top of the Sandia Mountains this season .........
