Highland has a non-profit Alumni Association that supports school associations, athletics and several other organizations.
They are putting on a golf tourney in early March as a fund raiser. I purchased a hole sponsor in the name of the class of 63. We have a foursome ready to go.

Lunch Friends!!  Next Monday, March 11, the second Monday of the month, Diane Bostick Jones has reserved Tula’s Kitchen,  8100 Wyoming Blvd NE, Suite G. They are a branch of Dion’s with sandwiches, salads and entrees, but no pizza!  Location: in the shopping center at Wyoming and Paseo.  Turn right on Holly from Wyoming, (the first right north of the Paseo-Wyoming intersection).  RSVP here or to me privately to get an accurate count. I will be at the lunch Monday. Connie Pecha Welty wishes to express her sincere thanks to last month's lunch group who signed the get well card sent to her. She now is dealing with Long Covid symptoms and is still recovering at home. I'm getting my 7th Coivd booster tomorrow. My mama didn't raise no careless fool.... although my older brother became a vaccine deny-er and got Covid before it got him. How does that happen in a family with the same mother???

Last month, we were at Tula's Kitchen.  Although they normally don't take large groups, Diane Bostick Jones did her magic so we got a large room AND Ice Cream Sundaes for the birthday celebrants.  (You should let us know if your birthday is this month...maybe there will be a surprise!!)  Speaking of sweet treats, in February, Gloria Ruiz Santana brought homemade toffee for us!!  The best!
