Steve Komadina

Is there any interest in setting up a ZOOM conference call for the class?  I can set it up and we can get on and talk.  What do you think?

Steve

It would be great and we can see what we all look like after needing a haircut for two months.  I am in.

We have seen Steve's haircut ;)
What about an outdoor venue? A mask contest for the prettiest, ugliest, scariest, most unique, etc? Just a thought if we are still dealing with Chinese plandemic.

Steve, your Zoom conference sounds okay to me.

I got to know Don in Key Club. He was a nice guy. I too have read his two books (very interesting stories of his life) and as he shares to the reader in his book, I had no idea of the paternal physical and mental abuse he suffered during his educational years. This was because of his undiagnosed ADHD and Dyslexia. Despite this, he over came these difficulties and he went on to performing some very interesting things in his lifetime. I hope you can take the time to read his main book, "Mind Blink". Good job, Don. I'll see you on the other side some day. We had a lot more in common than I was aware of.

How about a ZOOM call inplace of the May lunch?

If you do it on a clell phone or I-PAD, you need to download the free App.  On a computer you should be able to just just click on the link I post here.  If you do not want to be seen you just turn off the camera but keep your microphone on.  It is free but we have only 40 minutes and it ends.  It we want to continue you will just log in a second time immediately using the same link.

How about Wednesday May 6th at 12 mountain daylight time for this first one?

Steve

Betty Myers (Schaefer)

I have only been out 2 times since this started and my next time is an appointment in ABQ on May 5th  and will be in the car going home at that time on May 6th so out of a month and half those dates don't work for me.  I am just one person though but just my vote for another day.

That was just a hole I had in appointments and I really do not care, but is early evening a possible time for everyone.  6:30 or 7 pm?

04/29/20 02:55 PM #1904

Betty Myers (Schaefer)

It works for me except for May 5th.   Will you have a link on the Zoom meeting for those who have not downloaded the Zoom app?  I have seen that done in other meetings.

Steve, I think you should enable the waiting room feature and you should have RSVPs so you know whom to expect.  I had a zoom bomber in one of my meetings!  By the way, we do lunches on the 2nd Mondays, so this is a real bonus!  Maybe an evening out!  Fun! Juliana, you might be able to join, but check the price. Cheaper than a plane ticket tho.

A Zoom meeting would be great for those of us who don't live in New Mexico!  Just let me know the Zoom number and password.  I haven't been back to Albuquerque since the 50th class reunion.

James (Jim) Nohl

Steve, Doug Turnage is correct. 6 pm your time MST) is only 8 pm Mi time (EST). I'm a late owl so 8 pm is not late for me. Again, chatting on Zoom sounds fun.

I might try to join in on Zoom meeting also. Remembering that Abq is on Mountain

time, central time is 1 hour later, and east coast is 2 hours later,

1. either have 2 meetings on same day like at 1pm and 3 pm abq time

or

2. have 2 different days at different times. One for early birds and one for nightowls.

Just a suggestion.

OK!!!!!

I had in my cell phone a party at 6 pm at Albuquerque Country Club for 6 pm om May the 11, 2020.  HHS 75th birthday party.  I don't now if that was a tenative date, but there it was when I went to that date since it would have been a HHS lunch. So lets do a ZOOM meeting Monday May 11 at 6 pm Albuquerque time and that would be 8 on the East coast and 5 in California.

Steven Komadina is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Topic: HHS 75th Birthday

Steve Komadina

Have found link I posted does not allow you to just click to join.  The emails I have sent do allow easy click without adding anything.  I have sent out 20 e-mails already. So if you want that option rather than having to add all the stuff send me an e-mail and I will forward it to you.

komadina@stevekomadina.com

If using an I-pad or I-phone you will need to download the free ZOOM app.  Regular computer does not need that.

Sounds like a fun chance to hear from the HHS crew since our July family reunion in Albuquerque has been postponed until next summer. Have enrolled in some university classes during the shutdown, and Zoom has been successfully easy. Thanks, Steve.
