TAYLOR, ROBERT H. "BOB" Robert H. "Bob" Taylor, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 16, 2014. Bob was born on August 30, 1945 in Ardmore, OK to Haskell and Kathryn (Leech) Taylor. He attended school in Albuquerque and graduated from Highland High School and later attended UNM and graduated with a degree in business. He served in the United States Air Force overseas in Vietnam and returned to Albuquerque where he worked for the Albuquerque Journal, Phillips Semiconductor and most recently worked for Tanoan Country Club as a maintenance technician. He lived in Hobbs from 1980 - 1994 where he owned and operated his own trophy and awards business. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wanda of Albuquerque; son, Blake and his wife Maricela; and granddaughters, Shea and Sofie Taylor of Fresno, CA. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Jo Zobel and husband Richard and her sons, Joey and Alex. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming, with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. I remember Robert as one of my first acquaintences after we moved to Albuquerque in1954. I went to Emerson in 4th grade, then North to Monte Vista for 6th Grade, Then to Jefferson Jr. High. I think Bob went to Wilson Jr. High, so I didn't see him for a couple of years. He was always a pleasant guy, and I remember him fondly.
