It’s 2025 and time to schedule our first lunch of the year!  We will meet at 1pm on Monday, Jan. 13,  at Tomasita’s Albuquerque, at 4949 Pan American Freeway NE, just south of the Jefferson exit from I-25 .  I hope one new resolution for some of you is to try us out. (My resolution is to get these announcements out earlier!)
December's group at The Range was smaller for various reasons, but the conversation and friendliness were not diminished.

   I'm adding this Facebook update from Betty Schaeffer who often brought her husband to be with the lunch bunch.  Betty, we share your sorrow, but are so glad to have shared life with John and you as well. 

"Update: I lost the love of my life right after midnight on New Year's Day. John is now cancer-free and free of pain and with his family. I will love and miss him forever. Thank you to everyone who sent him messages and wanted to talk to him. I read all your messages and told him you were thinking of him. I could tell he was listening. Love all of you, Betty"

My New Year's resolve for a timely notice dissolved.  But let's cut to the chase----LUNCH will be at Dave's High  Desert Grill this Monday, Feb. 10, at 1pm. Dave's is on the east side of the Promenade Mall which is at 5200 Eubank NE.   You can RSVP here or to me personally.  We've eaten here before, and the menu is quite good.  Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Last month we were at Tomasita's and were favored with 3 fresh faces-- Julie (Gannaway) Canniff, Jeannie Moya Huebner, and in a rare appearance, Cliff Blaugrund.  Neither of our previous photographers were able to come, so I'm responsible for catching people mid-grin and making George look like he now has curly locks!
