I've been told people haven't seen the order of events for the Reunion.  It is posted on your HOMEPAGE.  In the yellow column to your left, it is the last item before MEMBER FUNCTIONS when you scroll down.

I came across this comment written in 1983 by our own Robyn Cholerton who started our monthly luncheons.  I can imagine her saying it today, and it might inspire some of your own thoughts as you anticipate meeting old friends again, or making new friends from previously unknown classmates.

"When we last met as a class on graduation day, we were bidding farewell to more than we knew then.  For all our differing interests and abilities, social styles, political and religious belief--everything that made us individuals--the proportion of the nurturing environment that we shared with each other in those years was larger than the one we have shared with any other equal number of people in the past 20 [60] years.  The world into which we stepped has been concerned with....countless issues, large and small, that have affected the framework of our lives.  How have we each come through this time and these changes?  Of our finite number, who have we lost and what have we gained?  How small and how large have been our triumphs and travails?  From our common root, after 20/60 years, what fruits have been borne by the class of '63?"

ATTENTION  all classmates

Ellen Coyne is updating our HHS class of 1963 timeline.   If you would like to have a personal life event put on the timeline from the last 5 years, respond with a message here or go to Ellen's profile and private massage her.  The updated timeline will go up at the party at the Albuquerque Country Club Saturday night October 29, 2022.

If you are going to the BBQ this Friday night, you can write out your life event and give it to Ellen then.

No tricks for us; it was all treats at the 60 homecoming reunion!!!  A big shout out and special thanks to the team who put this together--Marty, Betty, Helen (the eats on Saturday were perfect!), and Neal.  So good to see and chat with so many classmates.  Thanks for the warm welcome to my brother, Don.  Hugs to all, k

What an great reunion!  It was amazing how many memories were shared by all that came.  Thank you to the Wartells for hosting the Bar-B-Que, it was so delicious.  The mixer at the Country Club was so enjoyable.  I would also like to thank the committee, you did a great job.  It was so nice that the spouses and guests were treated like they were one of us Hornets.  Also looking forward to next years.

Thanks again to all who made our HHS reunion possible, and to all those who attended and made it so much fun. We were so fortunate to be able to attend and had such a great time. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

The Homecoming Reunion was a lot of fun and so good to be able to visit with everyone.  We had a great time.  Everyone stays healthy and no more viruses so we can do it again next fall.

I was just looking at James Parmalee's profile and did not realize he has a slew of wonderful pictures of the 50th reunion and close-up pictures of the class of 63 timelines that Ellen Coyne Harvey has so nicely kept up for 59 years!!  Thanks, Ellen.  It is a work of love,

It is definitely worth checking out his pictures as it also includes pictures of the 40th reunion.

Thanks, Jim, for sharing them on your profile.

Who's ready to have another class gathering?  Meet at COPPER CANYON, Nov. 14, Monday, 1pm for our class lunch.  The restaurant is across from the old Lovelace Hospital at 5455 Gibson Blvd SE.  I must have reservations by Sunday ....another of our favorite places working with limited staff.
